Turning safe mode off...

Hi,
I checked out php.ini and it seemed that safe_mode=Off.

When I run phpinfo(), local value of safe_mode seems On and master value of it seems Off.

I live troubles with safe_mode when I run scripts trying to access filesystem and such things. Safe mode restriction in effect warning is displayed.

How can I turn off it ?

Any help is really appreciated.

are you editing the right php.ini file? on win32 it should be in your c:\windows\php.ini

It is a linux. I checked out its destination from phpinfo and it said it was in etc/php.ini and so on...

I couldn't cope with it 🙁
