I have a script that saves html to a file and the loads it again for viewing, and then for editing. On my server it works fine, but on other servers it saves it fine, but then loads the data putting slashes before all of the double quotes. It is just a regular open file, rewrite it and close it script. Any ideas?

the coniguration setting in the php.ini might have magic_quotes set to On. You might want to set to off
