Help with simple regular expression

Can somebody help with a regular expression please? Its pretty basic, but I only started using them....

For example, I want the following string...:

$string="<a href="http://www.yahoo.com/bob.html\">yahoo</a>\n<a href="http://www.google.com/files/\">google</a>\n<a href="http://www.linux.com/test.html\">linux</a>\n";

...to output/echo like:

http://www.yahoo.com/bob.html
http://www.google.com/files/
http://www.linux.com/test.html

Try this:
$pattern=\"#http://(.?)\\"#g\";
where # delimiter
http:// part of search pattern
(.?) matches any char, any number of time, ? reverser greedines
\\" escapes the \", so for the search pattern it\'s only a \"

delimiter again

hope it works,... i did\'nt test it!
