My ISP has PHP4.0.6 which I'm using for a W-Agora message board. The e-mails it sends seem to include a lot of the header in the body, and my mailreader (MS OE6) can't even parse the From line.
The reason for this is that the mail function seems to convert any linefeeds (\n) that it finds in the fourth parameter (additional_headers) into \r\n; yet the latest documentation says multiple headers should be separated by \r\n. The result is \r\r\n which is interpreted as a prematuer end of header.
Could someone please clarify whether the function has altered since 4.0.6, or the whether documentation is wrong?
Thanks - CK
