\n\n as explode separator

I have been trying to explode/split paragraphs of text using "\n\n" as separator, but with no success. The paragraphs r separated with two linebreaks, but still it somehow refuses to seethem as a separator for explode/split... any1 got ideas whats wrong?

Try using "\r" .. I know sometimes that makes a difference when importing csv files into mysql, but I've never had to experiment with that in php.

why not try using nl2br() and then using the <br /> as your explode marker?
