date display prob (-0-2002 ) in php script from mysql.. Need help!

Hi,

i have a script that work #1 on a server, but on another server the script work whitout error but when they show some date for some item (date that come from an entry of mysql) the date display -0-2002 in place of like june-08-2002

At my guess its related to the server but i cant find how to solve this !

Its looke like if the php script not get this in mysql correctly..

I have even tryed it localy it work fine, fine on another server, but got this wrong date in my new server !

Someone can Help plz ?
Over couple of days i try to fix :-((

what are your servers running?

are you sure your server- date/time is set correctly? generally your mysql queries will run the same on any platform.

Hi and thanks for the help,

in fact the data is stored in mysql is even not the current time of the server,

the data come from an entry in mysql ex: 2002-06-30 that should report normaly June-30-2002 in the script, but in my actual server it report like 0--2002 i know its not a script problem because the script work fine for sometime on another server then even on my win2000 localy..

i think it should be a mysql setting or php setting wrong somewhere... But i cant find it !

I dont have any other problem or error, php does not report any error just display all date stored in mysql like 0--2002

I'm realy desesperate on that :-(

Then the date is well setup on the server, but anyway i dont think its related ?

ah sorry, .. the server time is not related if you are using existing data. i am not aware of any mysql or php functions that would effect a date query ... maybe you should post your query at this point. have you tried your scripts on a 3rd server? perhaps the fist server you were using was the one with the wacky settings. just a guess.

in fact i run this script for several month on another server whitout any problem, its on my new server that the prob come up !

i'm not a programmer but may be this query :

$post_date = get_date_readable($dateinfo['card_date']);

but it should be related to server since it work nice elsewhere ?
