I'm playing around with some ftp_ functions and was able to get the size, name, and modified date of files on my ftp server, but wasn't able to figure out how to return the permissions on these files. Can anyone help me out?
not to sure but I am pretty sure instead of doing an nlist do a raw list and you will get all teh information you want

Thanks for the really quick reply... I tried raw list but wasnt able to get it to work right.. i guess i'll give it another shot then, and see if they hide the permission details in there. Thanks
