Logging IP addresses

Hi,

I am writing a very simple message board.. Well in fact it is done and working fine.

I have been getting a few bad comments submitted so I would like to log IP addresses into a designated db field.

Is there a stamp command I can use to log the ip into the db???

Also is there a way of getting IP addresses tracked??
