Will any Linux professionals help me?
I want to set up a web server (php/interbase). And I was a NT platform guy. Totally new to Linux community
Is Linux free or for fee? any versions (free or for fee) recommendations?
Will Interbase Linux version working the same as Interbase Windows Version?
Will any changes I need to do in my original php codes (which runs on windows platform)? I know php is platform independent, but any small changes you guys can suggest i have to pay attention to?

In Windows Platform, PcAnywhere will let me connect to remote computer and grab its desktop, what is approach/software for me to grab the desk top of a linux machine same as PcAnywhere for windows? cost?
