New line to <br>

I have a little problem:
Then the user write a message in a textbox and type enter some times and so on and click the send button and post his message thats will be puted in the a datebase in MySQL and then be printed on a page that i can see...the problem only is that it ignore that the user have hit enter some times in message 🙁
so what i need some help with is who to find where the user hit enter and replace it with <br>
the only problem is who and i really hope you can help me...

Call the PHP nl2br() function on the string you're outputting. See http://www.php.net/manual/en/function.nl2br.php for details.
