I am new to PHP and would like to know how to set up my own chat forum. If anyone knows how, please advise me as to how to do it.
Why not get a ready built one? Like phpBB for example (or, if you can afford it, vBulletin, like this one...)

There should be instructions telling you what to do once you've got there.
I'm there right now and I really am lost. Could one of you guys go there as well and assist me? I know I am asking a lot, but I am persistant.
Go to this address: http://www.phpheaven.net/download.php3?a=phpMyChat and download the file. There is a file inside that call install.txt. That should tell you what to do.
