sql not running on xp home edition

I am running phptriad on windows xp, the php side of things is ok but when i click phpmyadmin i get the following error:
Warning: Can't connect to MySQL server on 'localhost' (10061) in C:\apache\htdocs\phpmyadmin\lib.inc.php on line 255

o How did you start MySQL-Server ("winmysqladmin.exe")?
o Did you start ist manually or by autostart?
o What happens if you start MySQL manually with "winmysqladmin.exe"?
o Do you have a personal firewall like ZoneAlarm running on this host?
o Please post the content of your my.ini which resides in your win system directory

cheers hand just by reading the questions you asked I have sorted sql. I was using the startsql icon in the start menu installed by phptriad. I did a search for winmysqladmin.exe ran that and then went to phpmyadmin and it works fine now.
