Want to create a PHP episode guide for my site

Hi everyone!

I'm a little confused as to what to do.

My site is based on a TV Show and would like to be able to input data into a database, [Episode Name, time, country, etc] and then retrieve when necessary [ie. on the day it is shown]

I have hardly any PHP knowledge and know how i'd like it, it's just the relevant code i need.

I know I need to connect to the DB and the tables etc.

Any help would be very appreciated as i can then work out what to do. I know I should be learning PHP first before connecting to DB's but I'm what you call...somewhat desperate.

well before learning the language its almost impossible to tell u how to do it part from writing the entire script for you, (which i doubt anyone will do) , i suggest going to

ive only been doing php for 2 days but its helping me a hell of a lot, and is much easier to understand than webmonkey or related tutorials
