I am a new newbie too

Hi all,

I am a newbie to PHP too.
I found this site to be by far the best when it came to interactive response about PHP.

I know HTML and have very little experience in JavaScript.
I actually dont know what are the technical skills that are required to learn PHP and master it.

I can code comfortably...thats the only relief.
I would appreciate it if someone could help me out on this ;let me know about PHP books for newbies or online tutorials if any;suggest some projects that I could start working on and learn PHP that way 'cause I do not wish to keep reading and not do any projects....

Please help me out!

i found php relatively simple to learn, if you have any understanding at all about proper programming (loops, conditionals, database and sql) then it merely becomes a matter of learning the syntax...

the ULTIMATE in good PHP books: Programming PHP by Rasmus Lerdorf and Kevin Tatroe. i absolutely love this book 🙂
