Combining variables

This may seem like a newbie question but I am stuck on combining two variables. What I want to do is create a new variable from two others.

For example:
User=bob
account=1234

and I want to create bob1234 as the result as a new variable.

Any help would be appreciated.

While Im a newbie myself I would use an array instead of scalars.

for example

$User['bob']['1234']

this is going to be much more flexable for you in the long run.

$User = "bob";
$account="1234";
$x = $user . $account;

That will concatenate the two values and put the result in the variable $x. Not sure if that is what you want as your question is somewhat ambiguous.

You could always do:

<?php

$User = "bob";
$account = 1234;
$User += $account;
echo $User;
?>

Returns:

bob1234
