I have searched these forums and couldn't find anything, so new post :o
Anyway, on one of my sites I have a file structure for my pictures like: images > pictures (or thumbs) > year > month.
I am trying to find / write a script that will count all the jpg images in all of the directories, not including the folders themselves.
I have checked the manual and the readdir() function, but can't seem to figure it out.
Help would be much appreciated..
Also, does the fact that the script is reading an entire directory each time it is called slow down performance?
