passing variables problem

We had a hardware failure on one of our servers. After setting up a new HD and getting PHP/MySQL running I can't seem to pass variables in a form. This was previously working just fine, and works on our other server. The variables just don't make it to the second page, the script uses METHOD="POST" in the form tag. Any ideas?

Check in php.ini for register_globals. If its Off then you will be able to do pass names from forms as variables.
