Excuse my Ignorance and Stupidity, But I just cant figure out how to install Apache/PHP on my Windows Computer.....Ive consulted many online manuals but none have helped....Whenever I install Apache, when i try to configure or test i get an error saying a Required DLL file was missing.

So.........How do I figure out which Apache Download is right for me.........How do I configure Apache and PHP together........And Once they are configured what else do I need.......If anyone knows a decent installation manual or tutorial that would be great or just help me out that would be great.

What version of win are you running?
I think, and I am probably wrong, but I seem to remember my 95 box needing DCOM to run apache.

Take a look at abriasoft.com
They have a pretty good install for apache/mySQL/php/perl and a few dev tools.
They do have a free version.

Ok Found out what was wrong, Im running Windows 95 and Was missing an update to I believe it was win socket or something of the such and it was causing Apache to not start, I downloaded it and everything is better, Apache is running and PHP is hooked up. 🙂
