PayFlow Problems - Redhat 7.3 / Apache 1.3 / php 4.2.3

I am having major issues getting PayFlow Pro support running. This is a brand new box, and I'm installing everything from scratch.

After struggling to get Apache 2 and php 4 to play together I gave up on that and downgraded to apache 1.3 - got PHP installed with --with-pfpro=shared,/path/to/pfpro but it just won't load the functions. I do a pfpro_version to check and get a unknown function error.

Any ideas? This is driving me absolutely nuts.

I'm hving the exact problem too. httpd can't startup again if my php configure line with --with-pfpro=/pathto/payflowpro/linux/lib. However, everything back to normal if I remove it during PHP configure. Help...... 🙁

Problem solved. The trick is edit your http.conf, loadup libssl.so before libphp4.so. Damnit.... it took me 4 days to figure it out. 🙁
