preg_match !!!!!

Could someone please teach me how use this thing !!!
I'm last a few hours but cant use it !

I just wanna put when someone type this words :

";:,fgkcbwqyuiomnbvxz/\"
He just send a print "found";

But i can't figure out how make this .
Please could someone help-me , just need this to finish my code ..

But why have you to use RegExps?
Why not just strpos()?

Because strpos doesn't just check to see if the substring exists it returns the numeric postion of the first occurance of the substring.

And so what? Check its value to see if it is found or not. The only problem is to keep accurate in case the return value is 0 (substring found in the very beginning).
AFAIK, strpos must be quickier. And also it has more simple syntax

It's not what the question was about either. You can use a screw driver as a crowbar but should you? You can use a rock to pound a nail, but why not use a hammer? I also believe you answered your own question as to why strpos isn't viable because you have to put extra code in if it returns 0 to see if what you are looking for is at the beginning of the string.
