Logically, it would have to pretty long.
MySql is designed to be used as a backend to websites, not as a glorified spreadsheet
MySql has "text" fields which take unlimited(?) amounts of text
therefore to get the unlimited amount of text into the field you must be able to have an insert/update statement of unlimited length.
Anybody know better?
