Problems establishing database

We are definitely "newbies", but have a wee bit of experience with Php.

We are trying to set up a new database in mySql and are receiving error messages. The latest message we are receiving is thus:

error in your SQL syntax near 'not null , PRIMARY KEY (ID))' at line 1

We have the following set for this line:

ID - INT - No Length Set - No Attributes - Null - Auto_Increment - Primary Key

What in God's name are we doing wrong?

i don't really know what "line 1" means; the database starts out with ID (et al) and I don't understand why it keeps giving us an error message for line 1. What does line 1 mean?

if your getting
"error in your SQL syntax near 'not null , PRIMARY KEY (ID))' at line 1"

it means that you've cocked it up somwhere in that input line. have you specifed a type wrong or somthing?

and do you know about .dump files?

The problem is your wrong SQL syntax:
Yours -
ID - INT - No Length Set - No Attributes - Null - Auto_Increment - Primary Key

It has to be:

ID - INT - No Length Set - No Attributes - Not Null - Auto_Increment - Primary Key

The Primary Key can't be "Null"
