HTTP 405 - Resource not allowed - I am doing a migration

Hello - I am hoping this is an easy one.

I was forced to move everythig from one server to another and I have done everything but PHP. As I see it, my new server has all of the php files and settings in various files, but when I try accessing a php page, I get "HTTP 405 - Resource not allowed" or it asks me to dnld the file. Also, all I have is telnet access to the new server, so I can only run unix commands.

The server is FreeBSD.

I spoke with someone about it who said I need to install the engine again and tie it in with Apache. I know I have apache installed, but for whatever reason, I do not see any source files for it. Do I need them?

How do I set up PHP at this point without overwriting anythaing that has been done?

Normally 405 means "Method Not Allowed".

Please try to run this script

Are you using correct extensions (they depends on apache configuration) ?

Whats about directory AND file permissions, how they are set?

yes thos extentions and whatnot are listed in srm.conf and httpd.conf and file permissions are all corect as well.

on the new server in an html page and I just get a blank page. I copied the same page to the old server, and I get the whole information stuff.

does this mean it's not installed?

if I need to install php from scratch, can anyone tell me how long that will take? Also, how much do I need to know to do it? Is it a simple task, or very complicated?
