How to ODBC connect an Access file in a network drive?

I'm working with Access/PHP 4/Apache/Windows NT.
I connected to the Access database using an ODBC DSN. But when I try to connect to a database in a network drive I get an error.

Anyone has the solution?

Can you clarify a bit? Is the database on the network drive setup as a ODBC datasource as well? And what exactly is the error that you are getting?

The database is in a network drive and it's linked with an ODBC DSN as well.
The error I get is:

Warning: SQL error: [Microsoft][Controlador ODBC Microsoft Access] El motor de base de datos Microsoft Jet no puede abrir el archivo '(desconocido)'. Está abierto en modo exclusivo por otro usuario o bien necesita permiso para ver sus datos., SQL state S1000 in SQLConnect in c:\archivos de programa\apache group\apache\htdocs\rincon\sada.php on line 4

In english is something like:
The engine of database Microsoft Jet cannot open the file '(unknow)'. It's opened in exclusive mode by other user or you need permissions to see the data., SQL state S1000 in SQLConnect in c:\archivos de programa\apache group\apache\htdocs\rincon\sada.php on line 4

Any solution?

that usually means someone has the database open, and is making changes to the table (i don't think this is our problem)

you need permissions to see the data

This is probably where your problem lies. Check the permissions on the share, to make sure PHP/Apache has full permissions to access the database. I'm guessing the user that the Apache service runs as would need full access to that file. I'm not positive about that. I'm not very familiar with apache on NT (or permissions on NT for that matter.) Is there any one else that can provide insight on that?
