Error codes in nuke

I'm using PHP-Nuke on a website and I keep getting these sql_layer.php errors. ->http://techtalk.iwebland.com

    case "MySQL":
        $row = mysql_fetch_row($res); // This is the line that most of the errors refer to
        return $row;
    break;;

Any ideas on what is going on? I made sure config.php had all the right settings and that all the tables were loaded into the database, but nothing works.

Well the error says that you don't have a valid database connection. I'd check you connection string to make sure that it's accessing the correct database with the correct username/password.

I don't see how I don't have a valid db connection, because it's been up and running. Just checked with the host and they said everything is fine on their end. My site was up and running yesterday, but then I come back today and I'm getting all these sql errors.

I've tried reloading the whole database and site, but nothing is working.

Have you checked the database users? Does PHP-Nuke use the same user to access the database that you do from the command line?

Something has happened that is keeping PHP-Nuke from accessing your database, that is the problem that you are having. I don't know why but if you walk throught the installation instructions for PHP-Nuke again, checking everything that it asks you to do you will probably find the problem. You don't have to reinstall PHP-Nuke just read over each step and make sure that what it's asking you to do has been done.
