PHP keeps adding my server domain to the mail() 'from' value???

Here's my code for sending some mail

mail("$adminaddress","You got a query",

"$memName [member $memNum] on $date asked:

$myMessage
--------------------------------------------------","From: $memName\nReply-to: $memEmail");

BUT if $memName = tubs, when the mail has arrived the sender has changed to '[e-mail]' - where brum is the virtual domain on the server and flimble.net IS the server.

No matter what I do I cannot stop '@.flimble.net' from being added to the 'From: ' value.

The reply to bit works fine, and I've tried adding \r , but it makes no difference.

What's going on here?

Have you checked the settings in your php.ini file ?
look under the section marked with [mail function]

failing that, im not sure, what OS is PHP installed on?

From: $memName

I think memName is not valid email box so server try to guess it. Write

From: \"$memName\" <$memEmail>

and all will be ok.

Yup - that worked - though the server domain is still added to the name in the delimiters, but I can live with that.
