Hey... uhhhhh... not too swift when it comes to installing php i gues... but i need to install php to run from command line on my winxp machine... how do i do this and how to i have it parse and run a php script ?? php -q whatever.php ??? first... how do i install it... ill be damned if i can find it on php.net

nope im blind or handycapped (probably the latter) but I cannot figure it out... o well I can always kick my computer till it breaks and yell at my cat... then... after a nite of drinking and forgetting my troubles... buy a new computer... install *nix and forget about windows.... untile i realize that i want to check my email.. then i install a dual boot or something... then all is ok .. until ... i realize that i cant use my comp if i want my server working... thats when i go and buy another computer.. just for fun...

First use the zip from php.net for your php needs, never use the install it sucks arse. Then in your path you will have to enter c:\php or wherever you unzip the file to. Then reboot and you should be good to go with running from command line.
