php + sql + xitami

i have installed php+sql and xitami server om a win2k server.

Is there a simple utillty to test my php/sql configuration.?

i have some problems with installing a script, (connecting to db serveur error) connecting to db is fine
but before i dig in to the script i have to be sure that my configuration is ok.

any sugestions?

Just try:

$hostname = "yourserver";
$user = "username";
$password = "password";

$link = mysql_connect($hostname,$user,$password) or die("Could not connect to database.");

mysql_close($link) or die("");
?>

If you get a blank page then you have successfully connected and the configuration is working. If you get the message "Could not connect to database" then you need to have a look at the config...
