Uploading a directory

Anyone know how to write a php script that will let a user upload a whole directory, insted of just one file at a time?

Theres no such command, but as normal, there are ways around this.

Simply write a script to loop through the directory you specify, uploading one file at a time, it'll probably take a while to upload them all, (so it'd be a pain to test and debug) but should work just fine.

http://www.hotscripts.com may have something similar already.

yeah i figured it would involve going through the directory and uploading one at a time. but, is there a command to get a file listing of a directory specified by the user?

Short answer: no.

What you want is more properly handled by ftp rather than http.
