Sessions Expire..

Hi..

I have a question...how can i make a session expire... (with database or not... pref without db)

For example the user loggs in and he stays 5 minutes... and the HE CLOSES the window (no logout).. and then somebody else enters the site (from the same pc) and he is logged in.. HOW CAN I MAKE HIS SESSION EXPIRE in about 15 or 30 minutes.. if he doesn't click on logout.

Here are a couple of configuration options for you to look at:

• session.gc_probability

• session.gc_maxlifetime

One of these should be 100.

So.. that values are to be found in phph.ini.. if i am not wrong..

But there is no other way ???

i think you need session_set_cookie_params(lifetime)
