oci8 problem with php 4.2.2

Hi guys.

i have problem with php 4.2.2 and oracle 8.
I always get thi serror messages:

OCIStmtExecute: ORA-00936: missing expression in foo.phtml on line XXX

or

OCIFetch: Error while trying to retrieve text for error ORA-24374 in foo.phtml on line YYY

it never happens with previous version of php 4.1.2.

the query command is just a simple SELECT from a table on oracle 8.1.7 database.

any solution?
