problems displaying a page in IE

Hi All

My first PHP web site is up and running. 😃 It is for the youth group at my church . I didn't get paid but it was great for the experience.

It looks great in Mozilla and koqueror, but it is misfomatted in IE. What's up with that? Is it a W3C thing?

Please be more descriptive regarding 'misformatted' in IE... I don't have IE, since I'm in Linux-world, not Windoze-world, but most of the time IE is more forgiving when it comes to bad markup...

Okay more descriptive.

Across the top of the page I have five buttons four of them are links to pages. the last button "PARENTS" is for some reason ihigher than the others.

ALso there is a box called "leftnav" that is supposed to be a pretty box with nice borders. In IE it is misformatted where the left and right bordera are too far to the left.

Well, I'm viewing the page using Netscrape 4.78 on Linux (a very lame excuse for a browser, IMHO! I greatly prefer Opera...), and the "PARENTS" button is higher. As well, the nav box on the left has some hokey-looking borders.

On the menu across the top, pull the break tag (<br>) out from underneath the Parents image link. It's pushing that td cell up.

On the left nav bar, you have font closing tags (</font>) which don't appear to match any opening tags...

Start from there. And double check that opening HTML tags have matching closing tags, etc...

Sometimes you look at a piece of code so many times you start missing those little details.

I'll fix those up and see if it fixes the problem.
