I hope someone out there can clarify this confusion.
In PHP 4.1.0, 4.1.2 when a user uploads an empty file, the userfile is "none", yet in php 4.2.1 when tested, the result is "application/octet stream". Both of these were empty uploads, meaning that the submit button was pressed without filling the upload content.
What is wrong here ? Is this some mistake I may have made ? I'm currently developing a link/indexing/web directory system for a year now and it saddens me to see the structure of PHP change like this as it will badly affect my software development. Please help, thanks.
