auto_prepend/append_file works for cgi but not for ISAPI

I am using PHP4.2.2 on W2K/IIS5 server. I am using the auto_append_file for debuging purposes and it works great running PHP as a cgi. I just recently switched PHP to run as an ISAPI mod and both auto_append_file and auto_prepend_file stopped working. I couldn't find any information regarding auto append and ISAPI in the PHP manual so hopefully someone here has an explination why it's not working? I don't think it would have anything to do with my server settings as I didn't change anything when I switched from CGI to ISAPI other than the app mapping for .php in IIS.

Where, in your directory structure, have you put the folder? I, too, have had this problem. I solved it, amlost accidently, by moving the folder out of the directory that was being served.

I think that it has something to do with the way that NT (WIN2K) and IIS operate. Similar to the locking of directories!

So all I can suggest is to move it out of your web site directory, if it is in there!
