How do I list all files in a directory that end in .gif .png, or .jpg?

Thank you, but it doesn't seem to be working.

It just prints when I view the source code.

This is what I'm using:

Sorry, my mistake. See the edited version. I had '$file' where I should've had '$f'... D'OH!

Oh, and there should be a backslash prior to the "." in the eregi() function; but for some reason the backslash got stripped when I copied and pasted the PHP into the post box...

I was wondering if you help me with one more thing? If you could help me with the code so it would pick a random image of the listing and display it on the browser.

Okay, whatever...

You can make easier to move from machine to machine (should the need ever arise) by making your images directory a variable, rather than hard-coding it:

$image_path = "C:\mypath\to\NekkidBabesImages";

$d = opendir($image_path);

and so forth.

Just a comment on the false != line according to the manual on php.net you should use false !== in this instance.

Should be it, why do you have false != (BLEH)???

Aeiri, I agree. But just for the heck of it I checked out the readdir() function prototype and examples on www.php.net and used what the PHP folks had in their example.

while(FALSE !== ($f = readdir($d))) {
// stuff
}

That is ugly as cuss, but if it's good enough for the PHP folks, and it works, it's good enough for me...

Those wierd PHP makers 😃 .... they made an awesome langauge but don't exactly know how to use it...
