flaky mySQL connections

Hi all;

I've got some scripts that work just great. But all of a sudden, it's sort of hit and miss whether they'll connect with the database.

I can add info for an hour, dozens of entries (using the scripts), not one error, 100%--everything works. I can do it from several different computers.

On another computer, it misses more often than it hits...

Any ideas? Again, the script is good... it's worked on several different servers on several different websites... no problems.

In fact, it /was/ working on this server. WebHost set up another site on it for us, we moved it over, (scripts, db's, the works) it was working, all the connections were good, & it flew on each computer that accessed it... now, blam... it's hit and miss...

But I'm starting to ramble...

Any ideas?

I've just tested the connection further, & it seems to be fine. It's just that about 50% of the time no information get's uploaded to the db.

This is only wildly frustrating.
