regular expression help needed

I have to split the following string in array

5 A320 OU637 PUY 1320 10.05. - 27.09.2002.

5 A319 OU639 DBV 2310 05.04. - 25.10.2002.

2 A320 OU658 ZAG 2330 31.03. - 26.10.2002.

3 A320 OU453 AMS 1300 01.04. - 21.10.2002. - 22.10.2002
4 A120 OU6588 ZAG 2330 31.03. - 26.10.2002.

I have stucked here:

preg_match_all ("/([1_]\s[2_]\s[3_]\s[4_]\s[5_]\s[6_]\s[7_])\s([[:alnum:]]+)\s,$a,$array);

Can anyone please help?

The first idea I have that ypu write \s*. Try \s+ instead.

And, anyway, why you keep it that complex?
why not just (.{11,11}) for the first section?
or maybe one may write .{11} - i'm not that sure about syntax.

thanks for your reply but I have found another way of fetching values (directly from html tags)
