Hi @ll,
I'd like to print a file which lies on my server. Furthermore I'd like to print the file on a network-printer...
Any idea which function could help me realize this? 😕

Well, for a start, there are many functions that are related to the filesystem in PHP, and here is a link to where you can find information on them: http://www.php.net/manual/en/ref.filesystem.php

What else do you propose? @
I have to design a web-application to manage several rooms for meetings. One feature I have to include is the catering. The registering user selects what he needs for his meeting (2l coffee, 1l tea, 10xcola, ...) and the order should be printed on a network-printer in the kitchen...

That's the page I've referenced at first g but the printer-function won't let me print on a network-printer, only on a locally installed printer.
