Simple question

I am t rying to add to html text type fields together via PHP I assume it should be very simple just adding the two together maybe in a while loop?

Anyway here is a more detailed example of what I am trying to do and seeking help with...

Misc. text <input type="text" name="name">

<br><br>

$1 to $25,000...........1
<br>
$25,001 to $100,000.....3
<br>
$100,001+....5

the text field will have a vailue of either 1,3 or 5

There will be two text fields and I need to add the value of each one together and then display the sum....

you might wana make it more secure or reliable with preg_replace()
