I have a client who wants samples of their band's music on their webpage.
So I built them a nice system where they can upload and set up songs for their fans to download.
Easy enough.
I build the link like so:
a href='http://www.band-name.com/songs/track01.mp3'
No problem it works in every browser except AOL. When AOL users click on it, it goes to a blank page, starts playing the song, and offers the user a dialogue box about downloading an ActiveX control.
Now, the song plays fine, but I'd like to stop it from doing all that other goofy stuff.
Any ideas? Am I building the link wrong?
Thanks
