Limiting Search Result Link Pages

Hi, I have a webpage where the Search Results are limited to 10 results per page and on the bottom of teh screen I have a typical Prev followed by Link Page Numbers and Next.But, if a search yields for example 350 results I have a display on the bottom of my screen that shows all 35 link pages.I want to limit the Result Link Pages to 10 on the bottom of the screen like in Google Search Results.Can somone pls help me out with this.Thanx.Nanditha
