script to create a printable calendar?

I used to offer a printable desk calendar on my site with a "tip o' the month" on it. Now that I'm a php/mysql dabbler, I figure I can do this much more easily by creating a table of tips ahead of time, and have php create the calendar automatically based on the date. I figure someone must have written php script to create a printable calendar based on the current date, so would like to not reinvent the wheel, if possible. Any ideas?

Yep; look in the code libraries at sites like this one or Zend's.
