mail() again...

When I try to send mail with php, the function returns true, but mail is not sent I don't know why.
I run the php-web server under linux-suse, I configured the SMTP on php.ini (it's a windows OS running Lotus Notes as mail server).
I have also configured the sendmail from with a real mail...
What's the problem?

You question doesn't make sense.

If you're running PHP on a Linux server, why are you trying to do something with Windows and Lotus?

PHP on a Linux server requires a local Sendmail-compatible mailer. "Local" means "on the Linux box."

Install one of Sendmail, Postfix, Qmail, et cetera.
