Session Error

I receive the following error when I start and register a session

Warning: open(C:\PHP\sessiondata\sess_6052858a4cfd17a0723f25f86bd344d3, O_RDWR) failed: No such file or directory (2) in D:****\index.php on line 33

Warning: Cannot add header information - headers already sent by (output started at D:\websites\wheels\LIMITED\index.php:33) in D:****\index.php on line 37

Can anyone please tell me what is wrong with this.

how are you starting & registering the session?

This is how i've coded it

	$row = mysql_fetch_array($result);  

                     $security_id = $row['userLogin'];


                           $sess_security_id =$security_id ;                     
						   session_start();
                              session_register('sess_security_id');

                      header("location: welcomeInformation.php") ;

}

Try the following instead of what you posted:

$row = mysql_fetch_array($result);  

$security_id = $row['userLogin'];
session_start();
session_register('sess_security_id');
$HTTP_SESSION_VARS[sess_security_id] = $security_id;
?>

creat a new folder sessiondata in C:\PHP\

the error message:

Warning: Cannot add header information - headers already sent by (output started at D:\websites\wheels\LIMITED\index.php:33) in D:****\index.php on line 37

is probably because you outputted something already to html
before starting the session
eg. echo $something;
session_start();
