Anchor, links and page reload - help !

Hi,

I have a little problem with anchors:

on the same page I have made a link at the beginning, it is pointing to a anchor in the same page .

It is working, but what I want to do is to increment click count on a mysql table also ...

Unfortunally, it seems that the anchor link works without reloading the page and so without compiling my click update procedure :-(

The anchor link I have is similar to this:

http://www.domain.com/faq.php#123&set=1&idfaq=123

Anybody could help me about this issue ?

Yes, page usually doesn't reload for an anchor click.

The only workaround I can imagine is to utilize an OnClick event for the link. For example, make an invisible picture and set its src to the URL of click-counting script or make an IFRAME & change its source...

Needs testing and maybe debugging, but in the whole hope it will work
