I loose some variables from a form

After using PHP for a few years now, I actually thought I had it pretty well covered by now. Right now though I have a problem I just cannot seem to get around, so I really count on you guys to help me out.

In one PHP file I have a form with 11 fields and a submit. The submit posts to PHP_SELF. Now an overview is shown and the user should have the chance to edit or confirm (it's not completely finished yet).

The problem is, that 3 of the 11 field variables are not posted to the second part of the page (address, country and payment). Why is that?!? I have done this kind of thing loads of times, but this one just won't work.

Your problem is that in the line where you test to see if the required fields are filled in, you use = instead of == for the three fields that you're missing.

Techincally, using the = operator in the way you do is an assignment, which assigns the empty string to your variable, which is, ironically, the exact opposite of what you want. The action of the assignment should return true (ie, the assignment succeeded), which means that if you forgot to fill in those fields, you probably wouldn't get an error.

Also, I'm not sure you can have a query string in the action attribute of your form tag (use hidden form fields to pass this data instead). Especially since there's spaces in it, but what I said earlier should get you running again.
