onUnload

Hi there, I have this infuriating problem.

I need to call an onUnload to open a small popup to exectue some PHP which logs out a user if they close the browser.

If I use www.domain.com/room/?room=2, the onUnload DOES NOT work.

If I use www.domain.com/room/, the onUnload DOES work.

Has anyone heard of this before? Is there a work around?

there might be a problem with the code around it, quotes not quite right or something like that.
