bbs problem

hello there!

i encountered some problems when i used a bbs program.
please help me how to fix these things. the errors are as follows:

Warning: Undefined variable: offset in d:\html\users\evyeauttecom\html\bbs\index.php on line 9

Warning: Undefined variable: submit in d:\html\users\evyeauttecom\html\bbs\index.php on line 119

Warning: Undefined index: name in d:\html\users\evyeauttecom\html\bbs\index.php on line 113

Warning: Undefined index: siteurl in d:\html\users\evyeauttecom\html\bbs\index.php on line 113

and so on...

where d:\html\users\evyeauttecom\html\bbs\ is the remote system where i uploaded the files.

If you are your own host... Change the php.ini setting to.
error_reporting = E_ALL & ~E_NOTICE;

else put this at the top of all scripts..
error_reporting(E_ALL & ~E_NOTICE);

Better yet, properly initialise all your variables. Judging from their names, they're form field values. If that's the case, I recommend reading the section in the manual on "Variables from outside PHP"; that will fill you in on the current Best Practice approach to the task.

To save a lot of rewriting, have at the top of the file in question the lines
$submit=$_POST['submit']; (I'm guessing the form is a POST), etc..

PHP is telling you that you shouldn't trust the values of those variables - you don't know where they've been.

And on the off chance you then start getting complaints about "Undefined index" because some form fields are not filled out, be more defensive and go

$details = isset($_POST['details'] ? $_POST['details'] : '';
//etc.
