search question

Alright I having so trouble with this one and I would be thankful if someone helped me out 🙂

So I have a search using FULLTEXT but the problem is I can only search for things higher than 3 charecters, and I also want to have partial searchs so this sat would output a search result for something like saturday..

erm, how old are you? I didn't understand hardly any of that, but i grasped the FULLTEXT part

Errr sorry I type to fast.

I am trying to make a search. When I use FULLTEXT I can only search down to 3 charecters. So if I searched for (cat) it would turn up nothing even if (cat) was in the database.

So I am asking how I can get around that.

Also I want to search using partial matches. So is I search for (sat) the search would output results such as (saturday).

I hope that is clearer.
