PHP <-> SQL Server 7

This oughta be simple, but dang if I can figger it out:
- Im running PHP 4.2.2 on IIS4 under Win NT 4
- I've configured my php.ihi file to activate php_mssql.dll (now working with an absolute directory path and '\''s , tho I've tried many variations...)
- I've verified that the ntwdblib.dll is in winnt\system32
- Both of the above files are the ones that came with 4.2.2, so I assume they are the latest versions.

But when I try to call mssql_connect() I get an 'unrecognized function' error, which I take to mean that the .dll is not getting loaded.

Now I'M about ready to get loaded!

What am I missing?

forgot to mention in the previous post that I set the extension directory in php.ini, and THAT's what has the absolute path.

Only set the path isn't enough you must also inform that you wana the dll.

For example, note that the mssql.line does not start with ;

Thanks for the reply. Been there, done that...

But what I had NOT considered is that after changing php.ini, I needed to reboot my NT server to reload the code!

Works fine now.
